A threat has reportedly been found at Eagleville High School. The alleged threat led to multiple Rutherford County Sheriff Deputies responding to the school as students were getting ready for their second period.

The threat reportedly read, "Y'all thought Steven was bad LMAO, wait till 2/27/2020 ya'll will see. I'm tired of the B.S. bullying. Time for Revenge!"

Evidently, the threat suggesting something would happen on Thursday was found on a bathroom stall Wednesday (2/26/2020). However, parents were not notified about the threat until the following school day after class was well underway. A recorded message went out to parents Thursday around 10:15 AM, the day after the threat was found (10/27/2020)...

That was Eagleville High School Assistant Principal Jason Brown.

Schools Spokesperson James Evans told WGNS at 10:22 Thursday morning: "There is a message underway now to all Eagleville parents to assure them there is NOT a credible threat at the school"

The threat is being investigated and WGNS will let you know if and when charges are filed.
