Age 100+ Rutherford Countians To Be Honored July 25th!

Century plus residents of Rutherford County will be honored at the Second Annual Century Club celebration  at 1:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon, July 25th,  at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center. 

At this time there are 17 seniors, over age 100, that will be honored. The average age of this group is 102 years old. The event is sponsored by Family Staffing Solutions.

Each honoree will receive an award certificate issued by Governor Haslam, and a copy of the proclamation from the City of Murfreesboro naming the last Thursday in July as Centenarian Appreciation Day, along with other gifts.

Mayor Tommy Bragg issued the proclamation last year and will be in attendance at this year’s event along with other dignitaries.
