MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) - State authorities have canceled a statewide Silver Alert for 38-year-old Passion Echols of Murfreesboro.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) issued the initial alert after Echols disappeared on Thursday (August 13th). TBI's website now reports the case has been "resolved." She was last seen last Thursday near the 2700 block of Crowne Pointe Drive, located off Northfield Boulevard and Memorial Boulevard. Security cameras captured Echols wearing a gray top and black pants shortly before her disappearance.
Concerns grew after family members and investigators noted Echols has a medical condition that could prevent her from returning home safely without assistance. MPD and TBI requested help from Rutherford County residents to monitor local roads and neighborhoods for sightings.
Law enforcement officers confirmed the alert is no longer active and thanked the Middle Tennessee community for staying vigilant and assisting with the search efforts.
