EAGLEVILLE, Tenn. (WGNS) - Eagleville High School football earned $5,000 through T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights competition, and community members are now pushing to help the school win $25,000 in the next round.
The initial award came as part of the nationwide $5K Fridays initiative, which selects 450 schools to receive cash prizes. Eagleville supporters are seeking additional entries to move the school closer to becoming a finalist and securing the ultimate grand prize.
To submit valid entries, Rutherford County residents must post content on Instagram or X (formerly Twitter) featuring Eagleville School, the town, local athletic teams, or students. Every qualifying social media post must tag @TMobile and the school's official account, while including the hashtags #FN5GL and #ENTRY.

Organizers encourage local leaders, Parent-Teacher Organizations, Booster Clubs, and Student Councils to participate regularly, as each qualified social post acts as a separate contest entry.
