MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) - A search for a missing Rutherford County woman ended in tragedy after authorities located her body in neighboring Marshall County.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department (MCSD) is now leading a death investigation after locating 45-year-old Carmen Manning on Monday (August 31st).
The Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) previously asked for the public's help to locate Manning after she left her Mapleside Lane home on August 20th. She left the residence driving a gray 2025 Toyota Camry bearing Tennessee license plate 374BMXT.
