SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WGNS) - The Shelbyville Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a 16-year-old runaway juvenile who was last seen Wednesday, September 24, and whose vehicle was reportedly last observed entering Murfreesboro.

Police identified the teenager as Alexis Spence, describing her as 5 feet 3 inches tall and approximately 120 pounds, with long brown hair and a nose ring in her left nostril. In the photograph released in connection with the search, Spence is pictured with long, dark brown hair and is wearing a blue T-shirt. The photo shows her standing near a horse and holding up two fingers in a peace sign.

According to Shelbyville Police, Spence was last seen on September 24, 2026. At the time she disappeared, investigators said she was wearing a pink crew-neck sweater and buffalo plaid pajama pants. The clothing shown in the provided photograph is not the clothing police say she was wearing when she was last seen.

Of particular interest to Rutherford County residents, police said Spence is driving a white 2013 Infiniti M37 sedan. The vehicle was last observed entering Murfreesboro, potentially making information from motorists, residents and businesses in the area important to investigators working to determine her whereabouts.
