The Chargers set the tone on their very first offensive snap. Titus Holloway took a handoff around the right end and raced 32 yards for a touchdown. Elliott Lean kicked the extra point to put Oakland ahead 7-0 with 5:25 remaining in the first quarter.

Oakland extended its lead just before halftime. Quarterback Gavin Brandon threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Keyden Wright with 25 seconds left in the second quarter. Lean added his second point-after kick to give the Chargers a 14-0 cushion at the break.

Brandon finished the night completing 4 of 6 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. Wright caught three passes for 66 yards and a score.

Rockvale fought back in the fourth quarter with an 11-play, 84-yard scoring drive. The drive was highlighted by a 49-yard pass from quarterback Tre Walton to Erick Carney on a fake punt, moving the Ravens inside the 10-yard line. Walton then scored on a 2-yard touchdown run with 5:56 left in the fourth quarter. The two-point conversion run failed, leaving the score at 14-6.

Walton finished 3 of 7 passing for 84 yards, with two completions to Carney for 75 yards.

Rockvale made one final push after stopping Oakland on downs. Taking over at their own 33-yard line, the Ravens drove inside the Charger 10-yard line with no timeouts remaining. The Oakland defense sealed the championship by forcing a penalty, recording a sack, and knocking down a pass at the goal line as time ran out.
