State Farm to Give Special Kids $25,000 on Wednesday

State Farm Insurance will present a $25,000 check to Special Kids on Wednesday at Camp Ability. The camp is held for disabled children each year at North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro.

Special Kids’ Family Services Department won the grant in an online voting contest on Facebook through the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program. The giving initiative distributed $25,000 to the top 40 causes from 200 finalists selected by the State Farm Youth Advisory Board. Special Kids garnered over 52,500 votes and placed sixth in the top 40 grant winners nationwide.
