A new scam has hit Murfreesboro and the target of the scam includes residents of Hispanic descent. Spokesperson for Murfreesboro Electric Amy Byers tells WGNS the culprit behind the scam tries to talk residents into buying them a gift card from a local drug store to keep the lights “ON” in their home. Byers told us the victim realized it was a scam from the start of the phone conversation…
