Special Kids in Murfreesboro received a $2,500 check on Saturday. The check was presented during a “LIVE” WGNS remote at Sam’s Club on John Rice Boulevard.

In the last 15 years of service, Special Kids has served over 2,300 children with special needs across the middle Tennessee region. The Annual Friendraiser Banquet is set to take place on September 5th and it will celebrate the milestones reached since Special Kids opened its doors in 1998 with just one child. Sam’s Club in Murfreesboro showed their support for the local nonprofit in a big way on Saturday during their community fair in front of the store.
