Homeless Sex Offender Accused of Sexual Assault in Murfreesboro

A homeless sex offender has been accused of sexually assaulting a female on East Castle Street. The victim told police that the 48-year old suspect allegedly exposed himself and touched her inappropriately. The incident reportedly occurred as the convicted sex offender was walking the victim to her home. When police questioned the man, he told them he only hugged her. The incident report shows that the subject was believed to be intoxicated at the time so not statement was taken.

At this point the man has not been arrested. The victim did write a statement for police in regards to what the subject allegedly did. The subject is on the Sex Offender Registry for a statutory rape conviction.
