For the second time in as little as 3 weeks, a local woman has reported being raped after meeting someone online. The 31-year old victim in the most recent case told police she met a white male on the internet and invited him to her home. Once at the house he allegedly raped the victim. Police have a name to go by, but it is not known if the name was real of a fake. The case has been turned over to detectives and an arrest has not been made.

On August 5th a Murfreesboro woman invited a man she had man through CraigsList to her home to give her a massage. That woman also reported that she was raped. No arrests have been made in that case either, according to Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans.
