The Murfreesboro Urban Environmental Department recognizes properties in the City of Murfreesboro that make positive contributions to our city’s landscape through the Community Landscape Awards.  Winning properties of the Community Landscape Awards are selected during the summer months.

The Murfreesboro Urban Environmental Commission congratulates the June 2013 winners:

• Ron and Judy Nichols of 115 North Maney Avenue win "Community Landscape Award" in the Single Family category
• Dana Downs Townhomes at 1400 Lascassas Pike win "Community Landscape Award" in the Multi-Family category
• First Tennessee Bank at 2887 Medical Center Parkway win "Community Landscape Award" in Commercial category
• The Villages of Prestwick on North Rutherford Blvd. win "Community Landscape Award" in the Single Family HOA category
