"Shrek" Entry Deadline September 13
Center for the Art Executive Director Tim Smith said, "I am extremely excited to announce the call for directors for our 2014 Center Stage Series and Gallery Series productions. We at the Center for the Arts are very proud of our past productions and as we prepare for our 2014 Series we will be striving to improve our productions and business practices."
"In order to achieve the high quality that we aspire to, we are looking for creative, talented and experienced directors who are interested in creating theatrical magic on our stage. We will be taking submissions through the end of September (except for Shrek which will need to be in by September 13th)."
After receiving submissions, Smith said that interviews will be set-up before selecting directors for each production.
The new executive director noted that it is important for director applicants to include the following in your submission.
- Name, email address, phone number
- Name of show
- Past directorial experience
- Vision for the production
- Staging
- Costuming
- Lighting
- Set Design
- Etc...
- Production staff
- Any other pertinent information that you feel will be valuable in making our selection.
