The Smyrna Police Department has made an arrest in the home burglary of a resident on Burntwood Drive. Thirty-four year old Michael Lloyd Ballinger has been charged with aggravated burglary and theft under five-hundred dollars. Ballinger is accused of stealing undergarments, pictures and personal effects. All of the items were recovered by Smyrna Police. Ballinger, who authorities report has a history of committing similar crimes, was placed on 102-thousand, five-hundred dollars bond and will be in General Sessions Court on September 26th.
