A nicely watered marijuana plant was recovered from the back patio of an apartment on Warrior Drive. The green leafy plant was in a terracotta pot when officers located it.

Police say that suspect Wilberto A. James gave them permission to search the apartment where they recovered drug paraphernalia. They also learned that James may have brought the seed that led to the growth of the plant from a stash of marijuana he allegedly had while in Texas.

The 31-year old Dallas native was charged with the felony possession of a scheduled six drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
