A 40-year old man visiting Murfreesboro who was wanted for a Violation of Probation “Aggravated Child Abuse Charge” was arrested in the food court of the local mall. Police received an anonymous tip on Wednesday that suggested James Phillip Brewer was sitting in the food court and was wanted in Winter Park, Florida.

An arrest report shows that officers quickly responded and easily located the man and asked him if he was wanted by the law. Apparently Brewer was aware of a violation of probation charge that was filed in the Sunshine State. Brewer will be held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center until Florida sends a unit to Murfreesboro to retrieve their suspect.
