Another motorcycle theft has been reported. The recent theft marks bike number 7 that has been stolen this year in the City Limits of Murfreesboro. In this case, the owner of a Suzuki GSXR told police when he returned from an out of town trip the bike was missing. The motorcycle was parked at an apartment on Puckett Creek Crossing. The vehicle was entered as “STOLEN” into the National Crime Information Center database.

Earlier this month, two more motorcycles were stolen. Those two bikes were taken from addresses near the Murfreesboro square. Prior to that, four motorcycles were stolen from addresses throughout Murfreesboro.

Last year, WGNS reported about 8-motorcycle thefts over a 6-month period.
