POLITICAL UPDATE: Adam Coggin Race for State Representative Running Smoothly

Adam Coggin’s October 29th inaugural fundraiser supporting his race for State House district 48 was attended by more than 100 Rutherford County residents and raised more than $50,000. Beverly and Dr. Warren McPherson of Murfreesboro hosted the event in their home.

“Holly and I are truly humbled by the outpouring of encouragement and support from our community. I look forward to working for the 48th State House district and Murfreesboro, with a focus on the economy, education and strong families,” Coggin stated. “A big thank you to the McPherson’s for so generously opening their home for the event.”

Elected officials in attendance included:

Senator Bill Ketron, State Representative Dawn White and others. Senator Jim Tracy, Senator Bill Ketron, Representative Mike Sparks, Representative Dawn White, Mayor Ernest Burgess, County Commissioner Jack Black, County Commissioner Joe Frank Jernigan, County Commissioner Allen McAdoo, County Commissioner Jeff Phillips, County Commissioner Chantho Sourinho, Murfreesboro City Councilman Toby Gilley, Murfreesboro City Councilman Shane McFarland and Murfreesboro City Councilman Doug Young endorsed Adam Coggin for State Representative in August.
