If you were listening to WGNS on Saturday, you may have heard us mention something about an intruder at a home on Stonewall Boulevard in the area of New Lascassas Highway. As it turns out, a man entered the home via a back door and walked into the laundry room. The homeowner did not know who the man was and quickly called 9-1-1.

When police got to the house they observed the man standing in the laundry room, disoriented and possibly intoxicated. The man was taken into custody and charged with “Aggravated Criminal Trespass” and “Public Intoxication.” The Smyrna resident will face the charges in a court on January 21, 2014.
