The winter weather forced BFI to close its Jefferson Pike landfill today (Monday, 3/3/2014). As a result, Murfreesboro Solid Waste Department will have to cease garbage collections once its trucks are full.

If you have a Monday pickup, and no one showed-up at your home or business--be patient. City trash trucks will complete their Monday routes on Tuesday.

If you have a Tuesday pickup in Murfreesboro, those runs will be on schedule.
