Around 1:16 Monday afternoon, the Verizon Call Center in El Paso, TX received a call stating there was a bomb in the Murfreesboro Verizon call center. The caller stated that the bomb would explode in 2 minutes. At 1:55pm the MPD was notified by Verizon. Officers were then dispatched to investigate.
Verizon evacuated the building and officers are in the process of looking for anything unusual. A bomb dog was requested to walk through the building as a precaution. Nothing has been found at this point in the search.
