The family of a deceased Murfreesboro woman is upset that a former caregiver has rung up over $6,000 in forged checks and credit card bills.
The family told police they hired the woman from Nashville to act as a caregiver for their loved one and later found out that the woman had been on a spending spree. In fact, even though the death occurred last month, bills are still coming in as the suspects spending continues, according to an MPD report.
Detective Henderson with the local police department has now been placed on the case. Documents are being gathered at this time and an arrest has not been made.
