If you noticed some police activity in Smyrna on Monday, the police department was conducting SWAT training on Sam Ridley Parkway near Motlow Boulevard. 

Chief Kevin Arnold said it was only a training exercise and wanted the public to know in case they were concerned. 

More training may take place on Tuesday.
