Public Invited To This Monday Night's "Recycle Rutherford" Meeting

Jul 31, 2014 at 11:32 am by Bryan Barrett

Recycle Rutherford meets at 6:15 this coming Monday evening in the lower level of Murfreesboro's First Presbyterian Church, the corner of College and Spring Streets. The public is encouraged to attend and gain a better understanding of the importance of recycling, especially with reports of our landfill nearing capacity.

Recycle Rutherford's President Glenn Himebaugh said, "We are going to feature an open discussion on ways to increase public awareness and participation in recycling. We need as much input from Murfreesboro and Rutherford County citizens on that subject as possible.”

In addition, the board will address routine business matters during the meeting.

Anyone wishing to know more about the meeting should contact Himebaugh at gah@cannet.com . Visit www.recyclerutherford.org for more information and “like” Recycle Rutherford on Facebook to follow the organization.

Recycle Rutherford is a volunteer organization that's dedicated to promoting public participation in programs and activities which conserve resources through waste reduction and the reuse and recycling of materials.
