The Middle Tennessee Magic Club ushers in the season with the Fall Festival of Magic 2014 on Oct. 17-18 at 7:02 p.m. both nights at the Murfreesboro Center for the Arts.
The family-friendly show, which is usually a sell-out, features five performances and a special guest. Club member Jim Hooten is the show's Master of Ceremonies.
"I am honored to be the Emcee at this year's Fall Festival of Magic," Hooten said. "I can tell you that we have a lineup that is sure to entertain. Several local award-winning magicians will make you laugh, make you smile and make you question reality, all during the span of two hours. This is looking to be one of our biggest shows yet."
Club members Gary Flegal and Wayne Lovell are two of the show's performers. "The Fall Festival of Magic has become an annual tradition in the Middle Tennessee Region," Flegal said. "Come experience an evening of family-friendly fun in a show that shares live theater with the excitement and mystery that only comes from magic."
Flegal, known as the Charming Corporate Conjurer, has provided entertainment for corporations and organizations, such as Wells Fargo, the American Red Cross, Vanderbilt University and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and for hundreds of private parties, including talk show host Montel Williams.
"It is, once again, an honor to be performing in this year's Fall Magic show for the people of Murfreesboro and surrounding areas," Lovell said. "Knowing the cast of the show, I can say that this should be one of the best ever for a great night of family entertainment."
