A duo in Rutherford County face ten animal cruelty charges. The charges stem from malnourished horses on property belonging to Dena George and her 18-year old son Dylan Simon. The Pet Adoption and Welfare Services team levied the charges against the two on Wednesday. PAWS is now taking care of the animals. Not all of the horses could be saved, two died. The animals were rescued in December.
