A 2005 Honda CBR-RR was stolen in recent days from a Murfreesboro apartment complex. If you have been following our stories over the past 18-months, motorcycle thefts are nothing new.
This most recent theft occurred at an apartment complex on Willowbrook Drive. The resident told police he noticed the *crotch rocket was missing when he returned home from being out of town over the Thanksgiving holidays.
A 2007 Honda was also taken from an apartment on Brown Drive in Murfreesboro around the same time. The '07 CBR was taken while the victim was also out of town.
In November, News Radio WGNS reported the theft of a 2001 Yamaha R6. That bike was taken from a parking lot at Northfield Ridge Apartments on Northfield Blvd.
So far, no suspects have been named in these most recent motorcycle thefts. The two latest thefts add up to 15 bikes that have been reported as stolen in the past 19-months in the Murfreesboro City Limits.
