"Well it's one for the money, two for the show..." and the eighth annual Southern Girls of Rock and Roll Camp readies for an exciting week at MTSU. This summer day came is open to females ages 10 through 17, and is operated by the 501 (c ) (3) Youth Empowerment through Arts and Humanities (YEAH).

The beat goes on and campers actcually have the opportunity to form their own band during this July 25th through the 30th event. It gives a unique experience in the arts, stage presence and self confidence to participants. There is a $300 per camper fee, and if you have more than one child--there is a $25 per sibling discount for additional campers. YEAH officials also say that a limited number of need based scholarships are available.

YEAH is also seeking individuals and groups who will help to sponsor students. In fact, with every $300 scholarship, the underwriter is included in a drawing for an I-Pad2.
