As the Murfreesboro Rotary Club nears its 100th anniversary, Saturday's "Hotcakes & Holly" became even more of a spirit of the season community event.

Santa was there in the cafeteria at Middle Tennessee Christian School, along with a variety of musical groups offering Christmas music, but most important was the fellowship enjoyed by all.

The Murfreesboro Rotary Club is Rutherford County's oldest and largest civic club and meets at noon every Tuesday at the Stones River Country Club. The 115 member organization was chartered in 1919.
