Two St. Thomas Health Executives Honored

Becker's Hospital Review has recognized two Saint Thomas Health executives, CFO Pamela Hess and CXO Dawn Rudolph, for their outstanding leadership in healthcare by listing them on the publication's annual list of 130 women that hospital and health officials need to know.

Hess currently serves as the CFO at Saint Thomas West and Midtown hospitals. She joined Saint Thomas Health as the CFO at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in April 2011. Previously, Hess served as the CFO for Saint Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind., and assistant CFO for Vista Health in Waukegan, Ill. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earning a Bachelor's degree in accounting.

Rudolph currently serves as the CXO at Saint Thomas Health. She joined Saint Thomas Health in Nov. 2010 as the president and CEO of Saint Thomas West Hospital. Previously, she served as the CEO of St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. Rudolph received her Bachelor's degree in education at Purdue University in Fort Wayne, Ind., and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007.

Earlier this year, Hess also received honors as one of Becker's 150 top hospital and health system CFO's to know. In Nov. 2012, Rudolph was featured in a Becker's Hospital Review article, highlighting her accomplishments as the only female hospital CEO in Nashville.

Saint Thomas Health is Middle Tennessee's faith-based, not-for-profit health care system united as one healing community. Murfreesboro's St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital is one of those facilities.
