Vandals spray painted curse words on another Rutherford County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle overnight Monday off DeJarnette Lane, deputies said.
The curse words were painted in white on both drivers' side windows of the vehicle assigned to Deputy Michael Rodgers when parked at his home, Cpl. David Alford reported.
Deputy Rodgers said he removed the paint from the windows with paint stripper. A small amount of white paint remained on the door frames and black rear door separator.
Murfreesboro Police took a report about the vandalism with damage estimated under $500.
This is the second Sheriff's Office patrol car vandalized in the Compton Road and DeJarnette Road areas of Murfreesboro. Vandals spray painted a similar message on Deputy Michael Romans' patrol vehicle the same night.
Deputy Romans said several other vehicles and a fence in his neighborhood sustained damage from the spray paint by the vandals in the same area.
