A dream for one senior citizen came true in the soda shoppe at Reeves Sain Drugstore.

A nearby assisted living facility offers a Second Wind Dreams. Earl Briley's wish brought him to Memorial Boulevard here in Murfreesboro. Earl wanted to bring back childhood memories by having a banana split in an authentic soda shoppe.

Elmcroft Senior Living on Edmondson Pike in Nashville not only made Earl's dream come true, but he enjoyed the event with his son Terry. They both enjoyed the old time delicacy while Earl shared memories. It truly was a dream come true.

When asked about the banana split, Earl responded, "If it gets any better, I couldn't stand it."

Hmmm, with Valentine's Day being this Saturday, maybe the Reeves-Sain Soda Shoppe might be a starting point for a romantic adventure. They're at 1801 Memorial Boulevard.
