Two Murfreesboro pilots have become certified in the Civil Air Patrol. Cadet Major Stephen Lester and Senior Member Aaron Chism completed all qualifications and passed their test to become pilots for the academy. 

Lester is the former cadet commander for the local unit, and Chism was previously a former cadet in the Murfreesboro Composite Squadron.
