Organizers announced that the 4th Annual Special Kids Race at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic on Saturday, March 21st, is already 80 percent full. If you plan to be a part of the 15K, 5K, and 1 Mile runs, that it is advisable to sign-up now while space is available.
Three-thousand runners are expected to compete in this community race that supports local nonprofit Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center.
Online registration is offered through Friday, March 20, and event day registration will be available for an additional $5 late fee.
Beyond entrance in the event, race participants each receive a soft-style t-shirt, race medal, and goodie bag with giveaways from sponsors. For the fourth year, all race expenses are covered by sponsors, allowing funds from registration fees to directly benefit children with special needs at Special Kids. Race fees are $45 for the 15K, $40 for the 5K, and $20 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Registration is currently open online at specialkidsrace.org.

Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs.
