Blackman girls basketball coach Chad Hibdon has been named one of five finalists for the Naismith Girls High School Coach of the Year. The award is presented annually to a girls high school coach who achieves great success on the court. Hibdon coached the Lady Blaze to their second Class AAA girls state basketball championship on Sunday with a double overtime win over crosstown rival Oakland.
