Several educators from the Rutherford County School system were honored at MTSU's during the Tennessee Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences award's luncheon. 

Retired Smyrna High School Principal Robert Raikes (left photo) was awarded the 2010-11 Administrator of the Year. Mr. Raikes's award was presented to him by the 2011-12 President-Elect Tammy Sandlin (right photo).
