The Tennessee Judicial Conference was held Wednesday through Friday, March 18-20, 2015, at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center here in Murfreesboro. Attendees included members of the Tennessee Supreme Court, Appellate Courts and statewide judiciary.

Circuit Court Judge David Bragg told NewsRadio WGNS, "All judges in Tennessee meet three times each year to review new laws, improve skills in such areas as how to better instruct a jury, and in general--how to be a better judge."

Circuit Court Judge Charles Creed McGinley of Savannah, Tennessee is presiding over the meetings as president of this year's conference.

Judge Bragg continued, "The three gatherings are held in March, June and October with the summer session being statutorily required."

In addition to the judges, their spouses and family often attend along with many retired judges.
