At 9:37 Tuesday morning the Murfreesboro Fire Department was dispatched to 810 West Thompson Lane. Officials spoke with persons at Bible Pathway Ministries and they confirmed smoke in the structure, and that staff was evacuating. Firefighters arrived in less than two-minutes and discovered "unattended cooking" was the cause of the smoke. There was no damage and the staff returned.
