The first dual voltage solar farm in the United States was dedicated with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting on Monday (7/25/11). Schneider Electric's new solar farm is at 330 Weakley Lane in Smyrna. It has the ability to operate at both 1000 volts and 600 volts. The project is a 1 megawatt solar farm, spanning more than six acres, including more than 3,500 solar panels.
