As Murfreesboro and Rutherford County experiences an unanticipated rash of burglaries and theft, the 28th annual National Night Out Against Crime takes place at 5pm on Tuesday, August 2nd. This years theme is, “Take a Bite Out of ‘Boro Burglaries.” Burglaries are up in Murfreesboro, against businesses and individuals alike, and local residents are taking a stand in fighting crime. 

National Night Out festivities will be held at SportsCom, Patterson Park, Spring Valley, Franklin Heights, Oaklands Court and Rogers Park.
