WGNS AM/FM has announced the broadcast games for the first half of the upcoming prep football season.
Week 0        August 19th             Arlington at Oakland
Week 1        August 26th             Smyrna at Brentwood
Week 1        August 27th             Riverdale vs. St. Xavier (in Louisville, Ky)
Week 2        September 2nd        Blackman at Siegel
Week 3        September 9th         Ooltewah at Siegel
Week 4        September 16th       Oakland at Blackman
Week 5        September 23rd       Riverdale at Hendersonville
The rest of the broadcast games will be announced as the season progresses. “It’s difficult to know which games will impact playoffs and offer the best radio broadcast in July. The flex scheduling gives us a chance to see each team and bring the very best game to the listening audience,” said Bryan Barrett, operations manager at WGNS. Also, the games will be podcast afterward, so you can download and listen to the games on your computer.
