A maroon in color Honda car, unknown model, reportedly pulled in front of a motorcyclist on Veterans Parkway at Blackman Road causing a collision on May 2, 2015. The victim who was operating the motorcycle then slammed into the Honda. The operator of the bike had to be transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville after sustaining injuries from the motorcycle verses car collision. Police met with the victim at the hospital where they recorded the information of what occurred.

After the wreck happened, the driver of the car fled the scene and has not been seen since. As of Tuesday (May 5, 2015), an arrest has not been made.

The driver of the motorcycle was 26-year old Andrew McKnight from Murfreesboro. The incident has been labeled as "Leaving the Scene of an injury crash." McKnight was riding a 2007 Yamaha VS6.
