Friday was a fun night in the 'Boro. There was the Annual Secret Garden Party and the inaugural First Friday concert of the season on the historic Murfreesboro square. To make it even better, there was a gentle breeze with temps in the mid 70s.

Rockslide opened the season with free downtown concerts around the courthouse. The perfect weather brought a capacity crowd with their lawn chairs to the historic district.

While that was happening on the square, the Manchester Highway was the scene of the Secret Garden Party. This year it was at The Maples, a new subdivision being planned by the area's prestige contractors. And of course, Saturday is the Secret Garden Tour where the public gets to visit some of the most unique gardens in Murfreesboro. All of the proceeds benefit the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring.
