Murfreesboro City School's Public Information Officer Lisa Trail talks about:

  • 2014-15 school year was the second "RECORD BREAKING" year in enrollment for students in the city schools.
  • Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County's total enrollment now larger than Hamilton County and nearing size of Knox County.
  • CHOW bus offers free breakfast and lunch for ages 18 and younger at 30 locations. There are 2 buses.
  • $25,000 grant to Overall Creek Elementary from State Farm Insurance
  • City schools reopen August 5th (first day for students)
