Megan Morrison, D.O., and Pezhman Shoureshi, D.O., are joining the dermatology practice of Michael Bell, M.D., and the Murfreesboro Dermatology Clinic, PLC, and MDC Aesthetics Center on August 18, 2015.
Dr. Morrison is board-certified in Dermatology and completed her fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital at Michigan State University in Ann Arbor, MI. Dr. Morrison obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of West Florida and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL. She completed a traditional internship at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, VA, prior to her dermatology residency and her Mohs fellowship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Mohs Micrographic Surgery is a specialized, highly effective technique for the removal of skin cancer.
Dr. Shoureshi is board-certified in Dermatology and has a special interest in Pediatric Dermatology, skin cancer and complex medical Dermatology. Dr. Shoureshi obtained his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Colorado. He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA, and completed a traditional rotating internship at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg, VA, and a dermatology residency at University Hospitals, Case Medical Center, Cleveland, OH. He recently practiced at the Midwest Center for Dermatology and Pathology at Shelby Township, MI.

Dr. Morrison and Dr. Shoureshi are married. "We are very excited to be moving to middle Tennessee to live and work," said Dr. Morrison. "With my family in Florida and having grown up there, we traveled often throughout middle Tennessee, stayed here multiple times, and grew to love the area."
"We're both very excited about the active music scene here, and the access to the mountains, where we love to hike and camp," said Dr. Shoureshi. "I'm also an avid NFL fan, so I'm looking forward to following the Titans very closely."
Both Dr. Morrison and Dr. Shoureshi commented on the uniqueness of the field of dermatology in terms of providing a foundation for strong patient relationships while providing a broad spectrum of medical and surgical care.
