The Environmental Education Outdoor Classroom, located across from the Farmers' Market at the Extension Office at 315 John R. Rice Boulevard, will host several fun activities this week.

Tuesday, July 21, the lesson is called Profiles in Garbage. Come visit the Outdoor Classroom and learn about what and how to recycle in Rutherford County. Other learning opportunities are also available with the goal to educate about the importance of recycling and water quality in a friendly, hands-on way to engage young minds.

The Outdoor Classroom will be closed on Friday, July 24 and Tuesday, July 28, but will reopen, Friday, July 31, 2015.

Children must always be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
