An Allston Drive woman reported to Murfreesboro Police someone took a package off her front porch, just as she was getting ready to retrieve it. The 31-year old victim told Murfreesboro Police Officer Johnathon Pope four black males took the package and then all ran in different directions. Then, the male with the package ran past his home through the backyard and around other houses. That suspect dropped the empty box on nearby Diawa Court. A police K-9 was brought in but failed to track the suspects, who got away with an iPhone 5S. A neighbor told police he saw two of the suspects, one wearing a Memphis Grizzlies jersey at a nearby home. Police continue the investigation.
