Bomb Threat at Oakland High School

There was a bomb threat made at Oakland High School on Tuesday morning. The threat sent local law enforcement from both the Murfreesboro Police Department and the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department rushing to the school. The threat was made by phone at 11-AM and authorities evacuated the school. Reports indicate the threat may have been called in from a pay phone outside of a Kwik Sak at 1698 Memorial Blvd. As of 12:55 Tuesday afternoon, no bomb was found. Students were allowed to reenter ther school at 1:15.
