Rutherford County schools want parents' input about their child's academics. In September, the county school system will host the first ever RCS Parent Academy. It's a free event that will offer educational sessions to help parents become more involved with their child's schooling. Spokesman James Evans says they need your help to decide what session topics to offer. There is a short, three-question survey on their website, rcschools.net. Evans says it should take no more than one minute to complete.
